Just so you know, I was thinking of Scot on his birthday, as always. Born February 2nd, so few born in that cold month, so few that I have ever known. I was not sad, I was glad as I remembered how much good was in Scot and how many happy memories his birthday brings to mind. Scot and I were together nearly 30 years. Our relationship was always about working together. It's a thrill to be still collaborating.

I miss my friend and fellow musician a whole bunch. It's been a year and 2 weeks since we played in a fun jam with others at my studio.

I just realized that my great-grandmother and Scot were both born on Feb. 2--what a sweet coincidence!
