Rainy March Morning
This is the first official entry on the official T. Scot Halpin blog. As most of you know, Scot passed away on February 9, 2008. He was a truly amazing person, so it's no surprise he led such an amazing life. This blog is dedicated to him--to his music, his artwork, his poetry, and his life story. I had the priveledge of being his partner for almost 30 years. The reality that he has died is truly still just sinking in. The good news is that Scot has left us with a truly massive body of work to hold his place for him. In the upcoming months, I will be cataloging, archiving and making Scot's work available online and elsewhere. ryh

Your love for your husband is very evident, very touching and very genuine.
I wish you nothing but the best with your new website.
Thank you Robin, looking forward to it.
Awesome! I always loved his Who story. I actually have an original poster from that Nov. 20th 1973 night at Cow Palace. I've had it for over 30 years and always tell everyone who asks about it the story of your husband's dream night. It's a beautiful poster too!
Anyway, I look forward to reading your blog.
Rob
As a Who fan from San Francisco, Scot's story has always resonated with me. Looking forward to this as well.
Thanks to everyone who's commented. It makes me feel very good to know that people will be tuning in. I am honing in on the first month's program. I have been listening to tapes I have not heard for many years. I have only made it through a hand full of the many, many tapes I have, and I have already found so much amazing stuff! Even the blog will only be the very tip of the iceberg. I'm going to start out with the first piece of recorded music of Scot's that I know about. He's 14 and he's basically playing a box, and he still kicks ass. rhy
Hi Robin,
Ann from Rome shared this site with me. I'm very sorry to hear that you lost Scott, but happy to know that you've positively reframed the life you now find yourself living. That's all we can do...continue to live and live well. I'm looking forward to spending some time at the site to get know Scott. I remember a few times we had together many years ago now in San Francisco. But I don't recall every hearing about the Who story!
God Bless...
Cynthia ("Cindy Rock")
